Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the South Lyon East Cougars (South Lyon, MI) and the host Walled Lake Northern Knights (Commerce, MI), saw South Lyon East's baseball squad knock off Walled Lake Northern by a count of 7-2.
Coming up next, the Cougars play the Walled Lake Western Warriors (Walled Lake, MI) in a Lakes Valley battle, on Monday, April 24. South Lyon East will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
