The West Iredell Warriors baseball team scored 4 runs and limited the visiting Starmount Rams to 3 in the Warriors non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Warriors (7-10) will now prepare for their match against East Lincoln (Denver, NC). The Mustangs go into the Western Foothills 3A match with a 10-7 record. In their last match, East Lincoln edged Statesville (Statesville, NC), 16-0, in a league match.
The Rams (7-10) will now prepare for their match against Alleghany (Sparta, NC). The Trojans go into the Northwest 1A match with a 1-17 record. In their last match, Alleghany was edged by Starmount (Boonville, NC), 13-3, in a league match.
