In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Coventry Oakers.
The Mounties (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Classical (Providence, RI). The Purples come into the Division 1 (State) battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Classical achieved victory over South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Oakers clash with the Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI) in a Division 1 (State) battle, on Friday, April 21. Coventry will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Chargers come into the battle with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI).
