The Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings topped the host Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South Meteors volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Vikings now have a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sandburg for a Southwest Suburban test on Thursday, April 20. Homewood-Flossmoor will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 8-8.

The Meteors (1-12) will now prepare for their test against Richards (Oak Lawn, IL). The Bulldogs enter the South Suburban test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, Richards was knocked off by Lemont (Lemont, IL), 2-1, in a league test.
