The Currituck County Knights held off the host Camden County Bruins soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Wednesday's league match.
The Knights now sport a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Pasquotank County for a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A match on Thursday, April 20. Currituck County will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 7-1 league win over Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 5-5.
With the loss, Camden County drops to 9-6 on the season. The Bruins travel to First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC) to encounter the Nighthawks in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A match on Monday, April 24. The Nighthawks come into the match with a record of 11-3. First Flight won 4-0 in their recent non-league match against Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA)
