Research Triangle Raptors (Research Triangle Park, NC) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host NCSSM: Durham Unicorns (Durham, NC), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Raptors confront the Clover Garden School Grizzlies (Burlington, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 20. Research Triangle will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record.

The Unicorns now have a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Franklin Academy for a Super Six 1A/2A challenge on Monday, April 24. NCSSM: Durham will confront a Patriots team coming off a 2-1 league win over Raleigh Charter (Raleigh, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 11-2.
