The Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks baseball team scored 22 runs and limited the host Washingtonville Wizards to 5 in the Goldbacks non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Goldbacks (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Middletown (Middletown, NY). The Middie Bears go into the non-league match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Middletown was overwhelmed by Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY), 15-1, in a non-league match.

The Wizards (0-7) will now prepare for their match against Warwick (Warwick, NY). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Warwick notched a victory over Valley Central (Montgomery, NY), 7-5, in a non-league challenge.
