The Penn Kingsmen softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Elkhart Lions to 0 in the Kingsmen league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Penn improves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Kingsmen host Andrean (Merrillville, IN) to clash with the Fighting 59ers in a non-league game on Saturday, April 22. The Fighting 59ers come into the game with a record of 9-3. Andrean won 12-2 in their recent non-league game against Portage (Portage, IN)

In their next game, the Lions clash with the New Prairie Cougars (New Carlisle, IN) in a game, on Monday, April 24. Elkhart will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record.
