Hidden Valley Titans (Roanoke, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA), 9-8 in a non-league challenge.

The Titans now own a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blacksburg for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 21. Hidden Valley will face a Bruins squad coming off a 14-3 non-league win over Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 8-4.

With the loss, Lord Botetourt falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 21. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 11-0. Franklin County won 5-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Halifax County (South Boston, VA)
