Rhode Island High School Lacrosse - Smithfield overwhelms Mt. Hope

The Smithfield Sentinels (Esmond, RI) lacrosse triumphed over the host Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI), 15-8 in Wednesday's league outing.

With the win, Smithfield upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Sentinels host St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI) to battle the Saints in a Division 3 outing on Friday, April 21. The Saints go into the outing with a record of 0-0.

With the defeat, Mt. Hope drops to 0-2 on the season. The Huskies travel to Narragansett (Narragansett, RI) to battle the Mariners in a Division 3 outing on Friday, April 21. The Mariners go into the outing with a record of 3-2. Narragansett won 14-6 in their recent league outing against Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI)
