The Staunton Storm soccer team scored 9 points and limited the host Broadway Gobblers to 1 in the Storm non-league victory on Wednesday.
Next, the Storm face the Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA) in a Shenandoah contest, on Friday, April 21. Staunton will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Indians enter the contest with a 2-5 record after their 3-3 league Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA).
The Gobblers now have a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they host Harrisonburg for a Valley contest on Friday, April 21. Broadway will face a Blue Streaks team coming off a 4-3 league win over Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 4-2.
