The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the Surry County Cougars (Dendron, VA) and the host Carver College and Career Academy Wolverines (Chester, VA), saw Surry County's soccer squad get by Carver College and Career Academy by a count of 1-0.

The Cougars now hold a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech for a Tri-Rivers test on Thursday, April 20. Surry County will meet a Dragons squad coming off a 4-3 league win over Southampton (Courtland, VA). The Dragons record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Carver College and Career Academy drops to 0-7 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Middlesex (Saluda, VA) to meet the Chargers in a Tidewater test on Monday, April 24. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 8-2. Middlesex won 2-1 in their recent league outing against King William (King William, VA)
