The Akron Tigers softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Newfane Panthers to 6 in the Tigers league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Akron improves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Tigers travel to Medina (Medina, NY) to clash with the Mustangs in a Section 6 Niagara - Orleans game on Friday, April 21. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 1-3.
