Arizona High School Softball - Apache Junction topped by Vista Grande

The Vista Grande Spartans softball team scored 20 runs and limited the visiting Apache Junction Prospectors to 4 in the Spartans league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Vista Grande moves its record to 9-16 on the year. The Spartans host Dysart (El Mirage, AZ) to clash with the Demons in a 4A Black Canyon game on Thursday, April 20. The Demons come into the game with a record of 3-19. Dysart won 21-6 in their recent league game against Coronado (Scottsdale, AZ)

In their next game, the Prospectors clash with the Tempe Buffaloes (Tempe, AZ) in a 4A Black Canyon game, on Thursday, April 20. Apache Junction will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Buffaloes come into the game with a 8-12 record after their 18-0 non-league loss to Eastmark (Mesa, AZ).
