North Carolina High School Softball - Whiteville can't hold off Ashley

The Whiteville Wolfpack softball team (Whiteville, NC), was tipped 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league test with the visiting Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC)

Coming up next, the Screaming Eagle encounter the New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A test, on Friday, April 21. Ashley will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record.

The Wolfpack (7-10) will now prepare for their test against West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC). The Vikings come into the Waccamaw 1A/2A test with a 0-13 record. In their last test, West Columbus was tipped by Whiteville (Whiteville, NC), 10-0, in a league test.
