Monroe Central Seminoles (Woodsfield, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Barnesville Shamrocks (Barnesville, OH), 14-3 in a league challenge.

The Seminoles now own a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Caldwell for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 20. Monroe Central will face a Redskins squad coming off a 18-0 non-league win over Warren (Vincent, OH). The Redskins record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, Barnesville falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Shamrocks travel to St. Clairsville (St. Clairsville, OH) to face the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 21. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a record of 1-16. St. Clairsville lost 15-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV)
