Ohio High School Softball - Shawnee bounces Bellefontaine

Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Shawnee Braves (Springfield, OH) and the host Bellefontaine Chieftains (Bellefontaine, OH), witnessed Shawnee's softball squad tip Bellefontaine by a count of 8-4.

The Braves now sport a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Franklin Monroe for a non-league match on Saturday, April 22. Shawnee will meet a Jets squad coming off a 10-1 league loss to Tri-Village (New Madison, OH). The Jets record now stands at 5-10.

With the loss, Bellefontaine moves to 3-7 on the season. The Chieftains host Triad (North Lewisburg, OH) to meet the Cardinals in a non-league match on Saturday, April 22. The Cardinals go into the match with a record of 4-9. Triad lost 17-0 in their recent league match against Mechanicsburg (Mechanicsburg, OH)
