Alabama High School Softball - Chilton County can't hold off Calera

The Calera Eagles softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Chilton County Tigers to 7 in the Eagles league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Calera moves its record to 13-16 on the year. The Eagles travel to Marbury (Marbury, AL) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Friday, April 21. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 10-6. Marbury won 13-8 in their recent non-league game against Stanhope Elmore (Millbrook, AL)

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Wetumpka Indians (Wetumpka, AL) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 20. Chilton County will attempt to move on its 12-12 season record. The Indians come into the game with a 40-3 record after their 16-0 league win over Lanier (Montgomery, AL).
