In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting James F. Byrnes Rebels softball team scored a close 5-3 win over the Clover Blue Eagles.
Coming up next, the Rebels battle the Boiling Springs Bulldogs (Spartanburg, SC) in a AAAAA Region 2 outing, on Friday, April 21. James F. Byrnes will attempt to upgrade on its 20-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a 8-6 record after their 9-2 league loss to Dorman (Roebuck, SC).
The Blue Eagles (13-5) will now prepare for their outing against Fort Mill (Fort Mill, SC). The Yellow Jackets enter the AAAAA Region 3 contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Fort Mill nipped Buford (Lancaster, SC), 8-6, in a non-league contest.
