The Deer Park Stags softball team scored 19 runs and limited the host Newport Grizzlies to 9 in the Stags league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Deer Park moves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Stags travel to Ferris (Spokane, WA) to play the Saxons in a non-league game on Monday, April 24. The Saxons come into the game with a record of 4-9. Ferris lost 35-23 in their recent league game against Gonzaga Prep (Spokane, WA)
