General McLane Lancers (Edinboro, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Erie Royals (Erie, PA), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Lancers now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Meadville for a District 10 Region 5 challenge on Thursday, April 20. General McLane will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 10-4 league loss to Conneaut Area (Linesville, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, Erie falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA) to face the Lakers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 22. The Lakers enter the challenge with a record of 0-5.
