Franklin County Tech Eagles (Turners Falls, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Mahar Regional Senators (Orange, MA), 24-3 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Smith Academy for a PVIAC - Franklin East challenge on Thursday, April 20.

With the loss, Mahar Regional falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Senators host Taconic (Pittsfield, MA) to face the Braves in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 20. The Braves enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. Taconic won 11-9 in their recent league challenge against Mount Greylock Regional (Williamstown, MA)
