Alabama High School Softball - Hewitt-Trussville bounces Oak Mountain

Hewitt-Trussville Huskies (Trussville, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Oak Mountain Eagles (Birmingham, AL), 13-1 in a league challenge.
The Huskies now own a 30-6 record. They take the field next when they host Chelsea for a 7A Area 6 challenge on Thursday, April 20. Hewitt-Trussville will battle a Hornets squad coming off a 12-6 non-league loss to Leeds (Leeds, AL). The Hornets record now stands at 8-20.
With the loss, Oak Mountain falls to 9-13 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Wetumpka (Wetumpka, AL) to battle the Indians in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 21. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 41-3. Wetumpka won 11-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Chilton County (Clanton, AL)
