The Rosewood Eagles softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Hobbton Wildcats to 0 in the Eagles league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Rosewood improves its record to 8-6 on the year. The Eagles host Jones (Trenton, NC) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league game on Monday, April 24. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 7-5. Jones won 10-5 in their recent league game against Southside (Chocowinity, NC)

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Lakewood Leopards (Roseboro, NC) in a Carolina 1A game, on Thursday, April 20. Hobbton will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Leopards come into the game with a 4-9 record after their 22-3 league loss to North Duplin (Calypso, NC).
