Ridgefield Spudders (Ridgefield, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Hockinson Hawks (Brush Prairie, WA), 16-1 in a league challenge.

The Spudders now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hudson's Bay for a 2A Greater St. Helens challenge on Friday, April 21.

With the loss, Hockinson falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Hawks host Columbia River (Vancouver, WA) to battle the Rapids in a 2A Greater St. Helens challenge on Thursday, April 20. The Rapids enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Columbia River won 13-1 in their recent league challenge against Hudson's Bay (Vancouver, WA)
