The Generals now sport a 13-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chapmanville Regional for a Cardinal challenge on Thursday, April 20. Winfield will face a Tigers squad coming off a 12-5 league win over Logan (Logan, WV). The Tigers record now stands at 11-4.

With the loss, Nitro falls to 10-12 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Midland Trail (Hico, WV) to face the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 20. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 3-5. Midland Trail won 10-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Cross Lanes Christian (Charleston, WV)
