Tiverton Tigers (Tiverton, RI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI), 17-1 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Shea for a challenge on Tuesday, April 25. Tiverton will face a Raiders squad coming off a 24-0 non-league win over Classical (Providence, RI). The Raiders record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Rogers falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Vikings host Cranston East (Cranston, RI) to face the Thunderbolts in a Division 3 challenge on Friday, April 21. The Thunderbolts enter the challenge with a record of 1-4. Cranston East lost 14-5 in their recent league challenge against Mount St. Charles Academy (Woonsocket, RI)
