San Leandro Pirates (San Leandro, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host San Lorenzo Grizzlies (San Lorenzo, CA), 19-2 in a league challenge.

The Pirates now own a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they host Mt. Eden for a West Alameda County-Shoreline challenge on Friday, April 21. San Leandro will battle a Monarchs squad coming off a 13-2 league win over Hayward (Hayward, CA). The Monarchs record now stands at 8-4.

With the loss, San Lorenzo falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Tennyson (Hayward, CA) to battle the Lancers in a West Alameda County-Shoreline challenge on Friday, April 21. The Lancers enter the challenge with a record of 0-8. Tennyson lost 19-0 in their recent league challenge against Encinal (Alameda, CA)
