Shelby County Wildcats (Columbiana, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Sylacauga Aggies (Sylacauga, AL), 10-3 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they host Ramsay for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 24.

With the loss, Sylacauga falls to 12-12 on the season. The Aggies host Lincoln (Lincoln, AL) to face the Golden Bears in a non-league match on Thursday, April 20. The Golden Bears go into the match with a record of 5-4.
