Trimble Tomcats (Glouster, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting South Gallia Rebels (Crown City, OH), 19-0 in a league challenge.

The Tomcats now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Miller for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 20. Trimble will face a Falcons squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Fairfield Christian Academy (Lancaster, OH). The Falcons record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, South Gallia falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Rebels host Waterford (Waterford, OH) to face the Wildcats in a Tri-Valley - Hocking challenge on Friday, April 21. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 2-9. Waterford lost 13-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Athens (The Plains, OH)
