Williamsville East Flames (East Amherst, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Starpoint Spartans (Lockport, NY), 11-3 in a league challenge.

The Flames now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Amherst Central for a Section 6 Erie County II challenge on Thursday, April 20.

With the loss, Starpoint falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to West Seneca East (West Seneca, NY) to face the Trojans in a Section 6 Erie County II challenge on Thursday, April 20. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 3-0. West Seneca East won 4-1 in their recent league challenge against Iroquois (Elma, NY)
