New Mexico High School Baseball - Belen loses to St. Pius X

The St. Pius X Sartans baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Belen Eagles to 1 in the Sartans league victory on Friday.
The Sartans (13-7) will now prepare for their match against Grants (Grants, NM). The Pirates come into the 4A District 5 challenge with a 17-5 record. In their last challenge, Grants got by Valencia (Los Lunas, NM), 8-7, in a league challenge.
With the defeat, Belen falls to 14-7 on the season. The Eagles host Highland (Albuquerque, NM) to encounter the Hornets in a 4A District 5 challenge on Tuesday, April 23. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 1-15. Highland lost 12-2 in their recent league challenge against St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM)
