The East Carter Raiders baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Boyd County Lions to 2 in the Raiders non-league victory on Friday.
The Raiders (11-4) will now prepare for their match against Mason County (Maysville, KY). The Royals go into the non-league match with a 10-9 record. In their last match, Mason County edged Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY), 2-1, in a non-league match.
The Lions (13-2) will now prepare for their match against Cabell Midland (Ona, WV). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 15-6 record. In their last match, Cabell Midland edged Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV), 12-1, in a league match.
