The East Lincoln Mustangs baseball team (Denver, NC), was tipped 11-10 in Friday's league outing with the visiting North Lincoln Knights (Lincolnton, NC)

The Knights now hold a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hickory for a Western Foothills 3A outing on Tuesday, April 23. North Lincoln will confront a Red Tornadoes team coming off a 4-1 league loss to St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Red Tornadoes record now stands at 5-12.

Next, the Mustangs confront the East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 22. East Lincoln will attempt to advance on its 15-4 season record. The Cavaliers go into the outing with a 17-1 record after their 9-0 league win over Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC).
