The Ellsworth Eagles baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting John Bapst Memorial Crusaders to 0 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.
The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Brewer (Brewer, ME). The Witches go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Brewer was overwhelmed by Lewiston (Lewiston, ME), 5-3, in a league match.
The Crusaders (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Belfast (Belfast, ME). The Lions go into the Class B North match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Belfast ran past Winslow (Winslow, ME), 6-1, in a league match.
