Jefferson County Patriots (Dandridge, TN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Grainger Grizzlies (Rutledge, TN), 10-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Jefferson County upgrades its record to 13-9 on the season. The Patriots travel to Sevier County (Sevierville, TN) to battle the Smoky Bears in a 4A District 2 test on Monday, April 22. The Smoky Bears come into the test with a record of 17-4.

With the defeat, Grainger falls to 8-11 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Claiborne (New Tazewell, TN) to battle the Bulldogs in a 3A District 2 test on Monday, April 22. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 3-13. Claiborne lost 15-0 in their recent non-league test against Bell County (Pineville, KY)
