California High School Baseball - Nogales gets by Sierra Vista

Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Nogales Nobles (La Puente, CA) and the host Sierra Vista Dons (Baldwin Park, CA), saw Nogales's baseball squad knock off Sierra Vista by a count of 8-6.

Coming up next, the Nobles play the Azusa Aztecs (Azusa, CA) in a Montview battle, on Wednesday, April 24. Nogales will attempt to move on its 9-10 season record. The Aztecs enter the battle with a 12-4 record after their 19-4 league win over Workman (City of Industry, CA).

The Dons now possess a 9-10 record. They take the field next when they host Bell Gardens for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 20. Sierra Vista will play a Lancers squad coming off a 12-2 league win over San Gabriel (San Gabriel, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 13-8.
