New York High School Baseball - Northeastern Clinton loses to Peru

The Northeastern Clinton Cougars baseball team (Champlain, NY), was overwhelmed 17-11 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Peru Nighthawks (Peru, NY)

The Nighthawks now hold a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Moriah for a Section 7 Champlain Valley I outing on Monday, April 22. Peru will confront a Vikings team coming off a 6-5 league loss to Ticonderoga (Ticonderoga, NY). The Vikings record now stands at 2-2.

Next, the Cougars confront the Beekmantown Eagles (Plattsburgh, NY) in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I outing, on Saturday, April 20. Northeastern Clinton will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 1-5 record after their 8-0 league loss to Plattsburgh (Plattsburgh, NY).
