Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Pottstown loses to Upper Merion Area

The Upper Merion Area Vikings crushed the visiting Pottstown Trojans baseball team by a count of 16-1 in Friday's league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Upper Perkiomen for a Pioneer bout on Monday, April 22. Upper Merion Area will face a Indians team coming off a 6-5 league loss to Pope John Paul II (Royersford, PA). The Indians record now stands at 7-4.

Next, the Trojans face the Reading Red KNights (Reading, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 20. Pottstown will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Red KNights enter the bout with a 0-11 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Fleetwood (Fleetwood, PA).
