The Winchendon Wapiti baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host St. Mark's Lions to 3 in the Wapiti non-league victory on Friday.
The Wapiti (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Worcester Academy (Worcester, MA). The Hilltoppers go into the non-league match with a 7-3 record. In their last match, Worcester Academy was overwhelmed by Phillips Academy (Andover, MA), 8-4, in a league match.
The Lions (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Governor's Academy (Byfield, MA). The Governors go into the Independent School match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Governor's Academy was overwhelmed by Noble & Greenough (Dedham, MA), 5-2, in a league match.
