California High School Volleyball - University City edged by Francis Parker

The Francis Parker Lancers held off the host University City Centurions volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Friday's league test.

The Lancers now have a 15-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cathedral Catholic for a City Western test on Tuesday, April 23. Francis Parker will confront a Dons team coming off a 3-0 league win over Scripps Ranch (San Diego, CA). The Dons record now stands at 17-6.

The Centurions (14-16) will now prepare for their test against Scripps Ranch (San Diego, CA). The Falcons enter the City Western test with a 19-15 record. In their last test, Scripps Ranch held off San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
