In Friday's non-league battle, the host Hersey Huskies volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Maine East Blue Demons.

The Huskies (14-3) will now prepare for their battle against Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 8-8 record. In their last battle, Glenbard North lost by Geneva (Geneva, IL), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Blue Demons encounter the Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 20. Maine East will attempt to advance on its 9-10 season record. The Raiders come into the battle with a 4-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL).
