California High School Volleyball - Verdugo Hills over Poly

April 19, 2024: Tujunga, CA 91042

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA) and the visiting Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA), saw Verdugo Hills's volleyball squad beat Poly by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Verdugo Hills upgrades its record to 14-6 on the year. The Dons travel to Sylmar (Sylmar, CA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Saturday, April 20. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 20-8. Sylmar lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Grant (Van Nuys, CA)

The Parrots now own a 16-18 record. They play next when they host Chavez for a East Valley bout on Monday, April 22. Poly will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Monroe (North Hills, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-12.
