In Friday's league battle, the host St. Pauls Bulldogs soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the West Bladen Knights.
The Bulldogs (4-10) will now prepare for their battle against Red Springs (Red Springs, NC). The Red Devils enter the Southeastern Athletic 2A bout with a 3-9 record. In their last bout, Red Springs was nipped by East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Knights battle the East Bladen Eagles (Elizabethtown, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 22. West Bladen will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 8-2 record after their 3-2 league loss to Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC).
