The R-S Central Hilltoppers baseball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Patton Panthers to 2 in the Hilltoppers non-league victory on Friday.
The Hilltoppers (10-0) will now prepare for their match against Chase (Forest City, NC). The Trojans go into the non-league match with a 4-6 record. In their last match, Chase was overwhelmed by Brevard (Brevard, NC), 17-6, in a non-league match.
The Panthers (3-7) will now prepare for their match against Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC). The Bearcats go into the non-league match with a 4-12 record. In their last match, Hendersonville ran past Erwin (Asheville, NC), 10-2, in a non-league match.
