North Augusta Yellow Jackets (North Augusta, SC) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC), 5-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Yellow Jackets face the Brookland-Cayce Bearcats (Cayce, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 23. North Augusta will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Swansea (Swansea, SC).
The Mustangs now have a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host Aiken for a challenge on Tuesday, April 23. Midland Valley will face a Fighting Green Hornets team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to River Bluff (Lexington, SC). The Fighting Green Hornets record now stands at 1-6.
