In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Woodruff Wolverines soccer squad scored a close 6-1 triumph over the Broome Centurions.
The Wolverines (12-4) will now prepare for their battle against Union County (Union, SC). The Yellowjackets come into the AAA Region 4 battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Union County Emerald (Greenwood, SC), 1-1, in a league battle.
The Centurions (1-10) will now prepare for their battle against Chapman (Inman, SC). The Panthers come into the AAA Region 3 battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, Chapman was overwhelmed by Travelers Rest (Travelers Rest, SC), 2-1, in a league battle.
