The St. James Sharks soccer team (Murrells Inlet, SC), was nipped 2-1 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Carolina Forest Panthers (Myrtle Beach, SC)
With the win, Carolina Forest advances its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Waccamaw (Pawley's Island, SC) to play the Warriors in a non-league outing on Thursday, April 25. The Warriors go into the outing with a record of 15-6.
In their next game, the Sharks play the Sumter Gamecocks (Sumter, SC) in a AAAAA Region 5 outing, on Monday, April 22. St. James will attempt to advance on its 4-13 season record. The Gamecocks go into the outing with a 1-11 record after their 1-0 league loss to Conway (Conway, SC).
