California High School Softball - Academy for Academic Excellence bounces Big Bear

April 19, 2024: Apple Valley, CA 92307

The Academy for Academic Excellence Knights (Apple Valley, CA) softball routed the visiting Big Bear Bears (Big Bear City, CA), 11-1 in Friday's league bout.

The Knights (14-2) will now prepare for their bout against Excelsior Charter (Victorville, CA). The Eagles go into the Cross Valley bout with a 12-11 record. In their last bout, Excelsior Charter was routed by University Prep (Victorville, CA), 12-2, in a league bout.

The Bears now possess a 7-15 record. They play next when they host Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy for a Cross Valley bout on Monday, April 22. Big Bear will confront a squad coming off a 9-8 league loss to Riverside Prep (Oro Grande, CA). The record now stands at 3-10.
