The Academy of St. Elizabeth Panthers routed the visiting Boonton Bombers softball squad by a count of 12-7 in Friday's league battle.

The Panthers (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Mother Seton (Clark, NJ). The Setters go into the non-league battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Mother Seton nudged Calvary Christian (Old Bridge, NJ), 18-8, in a league battle.

The Bombers now sport a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Saddle Brook for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 20. Boonton will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, NJ). The Falcons record now stands at 2-6.
